Anyone try one? My daughter lives in a cndo and can't use her Weber Portable ags grill. I would like to get her oen for a present if they are good. Hate to drop that much coin on a dud!

In the Netherlands, a friend of mine's GF has one and he said that it works OK, however I would like to see it in action before I recommended it. I am a bit wary of the amount of heat it's supposed to put out. I dont't know if we will see them in OZ - based on what and how Australians BBQ they will be competing with a George Forman grill $70.00 against about $400.00 for the Weber.
If you can see it demonstrated let me know what you think.

They come as table top units, but can sit on a stand and pretend to be a noble gasser.
Not the same as grilling over wood coals to be sure but if I had to choose between it and no grill at all I'd choose it. Surely Weber makes at least as good a product. HTH

Thanks for the replies. $300 is a little stout for me,though! Hope to get more info about the Weber before Xmas.

i would imagine the q would be a lifetime investment. they are really built.
