Small restaurant / Big Flavor.

I don't know the story but I'm pretty sure they are into competition (at least locally). They are known for their brisket which is all I've ever had there.

If you ever go, let me know and I'll come too!

Ate there today and had the obligatory sampler.

Chicken was very good. Great flavor and just the right amount of smoke.

Ribs seemed over-done, all pulled off the bone and had a little too much sauce.

Brisket was very tender but bordered on dry. If he had sauced it lightly it would be #2 on the list.

Pulled pork was served dry (on purpose?) so you had to add some kind of sauce. Not sure why but another reviewer mentioned the dry pulled pork as well so it's done for a reason I guess.

My dad's comment said it best when we got back in the car "I've had way better BBQ at your house, what was that all about?"

We drove over 1 hour to get there and I would eat there again if in town but that's it.

Great service and the restaurant was small but clean.

Since BBQ is scarce in MD it's recommended if you are passing through but don't go out of your way to stop there.
