Barnesville, GA 4/22 & 4/23

Unfortunately I won't be there. I don't compete again until Ocala in May. I'm neck deep in building the BBQ trailer and working on test cooks.

We have been trying to make repairs to the trailer in between events, not fun when you are trying to get ready for a comp.

Know anything about electrical ? Our trailer has a circuit break inside, and whenever we plug into GFCI outlets it flips the outlet.

Just a guess off the top of my head but I would imagine that somebody somewhere has tied the neutral to the ground or the neutral is open somewhere.

The reason I say that is that GFCI monitors the current on the neutral line. If it jumps too high then it will pop the breaker in the outlet.

Check whatever you are plugging in isn't wet or has a short first. The outlet might be faulty and check the wires for chaffing. On my trailer, I put in GFI breakers. HTH

Thanks Russ & Bill.

We have 3 weeks before our next event, so we will probably rip out the current breaker box and replace it.
