I lived in Spain for a year and really feel in love with the food there. The dinner time does not begin till 9PM and lasts several hours. the is NO rush in Spain. Not much gets done, but no one cares-a good way to live.
If you want to eat before the time when everything opens up, go to a bar and get tapas-small dishes. One of my favorites we Pinchos, small spiced cubes of pork grilled.
Take 1-2 lbs of Pork Tenderloin cubed in about 1" cubes
Put into a bowl and add some Worchestershire, salt, pepper and olive oil. Then add Cumin, Cayanne Pepper, Paparika and crushed chopped garlic. Cover and put in the fridge for anywhere from a couple of hours to overnight.
When ready to cook on the grill or on the broiler in the oven, put onto skewers and cook till done.
