Came home from work feeling black and blue from doing battle all day long (I'm a corporate lawyer with a real estate and title insurance company), so I decided some red meat and brown ale would be just the Rx to make things better.

I am a charcoal guy, but there are nights when firing up the Q220 on the way in, then going back downstairs with the food and beer is just the way to go.

The steak was tonight's dinner; the chicken breasts are for Fettuccine Alfredo tomorrow night when my daughter gets home for spring break! I hit the steak for about 3 minutes a side then put some heavy duty foil under a baker's cooling rack and finished the steak indirect on the rack. Makes the days battles fade from memory!

Don't you love the grill marks from the cast iron grate on the Q220?

 
At first I thought it was zebra meat, with all those stripes
