Thought Darden shut all these down 4 or 5 years ago. Actually have known for about a year that there is still at least one - in Springfield, IL. Travel to the Springfield area about once a month and thought we'd give them a try this past Saturday night. Parking lot was jammed and so was the waiting area. Hostess said there was a 1 hour wait. We went somewhere else for dinner but will have to check out Smokey Bones another time.
 
Went to the one in the Fox Valley Mall about 6 yrs ago.
It was ok at the most, nothin special IME.

Fox Valley was the 1st one I ever ate at. OK but not great. If I remember correctly they had really good corn bread.
Just suprised to know that there's at least one still around somewhere.
 
Yep it was ok. The bartenders would smash the empty beer bottles into a floor mounted trash basin which was different.
They had some decent sauces and the CB and beans were good.
