Roc City Rib Fest - who's in??

One of the _best_ events on the east coast! Held in Rochester, NY at Charlotte Beach, located right on Lake Ontario. Memorial Day Weekend: 5/27-5/29.

Saturday is ribs only, NEBS and a Kids Q competition (which my boys will be competing in). I'll be doing the ribs only on Saturday(Big Bad Wolf BBQ). Sunday is the full KCBS. I'll be cooking with a co-worker (The Pit Crew) C'mon up, it's a great event!

if it wasn't a 7hr drive and on memorial day weekend I'd check it out. Good luck to your son! Let us know how he does.
 
I wish I could check it out. I was in Rochester back in September for some job training. Got to go out to Ontario Beach one evening. Beautiful place.
 
Jimmy and the Squealers for Cleveland, Ohio will be there. Looking forward to meeting a lot of NY smokers and new friends.

NEBS is new to us. Any tips for the newbies on NEBS?
