Mild Tomato Sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup vinegar
3 T worchestershire
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 T molasses
2 T yellow mustard
1 t tabasco (0r 1 T Texas Pete)
1 t Liquid smoke
1 t black pepper
1/2 lemon
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove
1 bay leaf
Saute onion and garlic, add rest of ingredients and simmer. Blend in a blender.
This is a recipe for those who do not like spicy sauce.
