Weber Silver bullet Smoke Jacket and auto-temp

Being from the Windy City, (got that name from the gusty politicians), Chicago is really windy, has anyone used the smoke jacket? Does this product allow for controlled smoking even in normal to windy conditions? Do the excess fumes properly escape? Seems a bit pricey, but if it works as advertised it might assist a non-industrious fellow like me to avoid building my own windbreak. I rather fancy being able to smoke when I want and not be at the mercy of the ever changing Chicago climes!! I post this here because I figure the Jacket must be used with an auto-temp device.
