DigiQ II tape question

I use one of my WSM's at the marina sometimes without my DigiQ-II hooked up to it. To do that I tore out the tape I put on when it arrived.

Does anyone know what kind of tape it came with it? (for the vent that the adapter is mounted to) I saw posts about muffler tape but after a trip to the auto parts store I dont think that was it.

I thought of shoving wine corks in the two open vents and seeing how that worked because when we take it down to the marina we dont have a power source and I havent as of yet acquired a battery for this application.

I have a cook at home tonight and want to use the digiQ II.

i broke down and bought the big roll of foil tape at home depot!!

I did what Tom did, and picked up a roll of foil tape at HD. It cost about 6 bucks for the roll.

Another option is 3M high temp tape. I liked that it was rated up to 600 degrees. Not that you need that, but some of the stuff I see in Home Depot and elsewhere is rated at 200 degrees, which seems a little low.
