Hey gang ,this recipe comes from my hometown!
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 stick melted butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
9" pie shell
6 ounces chocolate chips
1 cup walnutls(pecans if you wish)
2 teaspoons Woodford Reserve
Scatter choc. chips over bottom of the pie shell.
add the butter to the sugar and flour.Beat in the eggs and W.R. Pour over the choc. chips in the pie shell bake at 325 for 1 hour. Cool to room temp( if you can wait that long)
Kona pie is the same just subsitute macadamias for walnuts and Kalua for W.R. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
