Casings, Hanked or tubed?

Getting ready to buy some casings and was wondering which way to go. When you buy natural casings, do you buy hanked casing or tubed? What the dis/advantage of each?

For me I find it easier to buy hanked and use what I need. The one time I bought tubed I threw a bunch away because I measured wrong. If you do large batches tubed would be the way to go but I do 5-8lb batches at a time.

Thanks Brian. I hadn't thought of that. I am only doing 5 - 10 lb at a go as well.

I always by them hanked. What are tubed casings?
