1/8 cup Brown sugar, dark
1 tablespoon Sea salt
2 teaspoon(s) Crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake till mixed.

Jim,

I remember those cherry bombs at the AR in 2000, but I didn't have the nerve to try one. What was in them? I recall the cherries were marinated in booze.

Everclear, had been soaking for close to a year.
Pop one in your mouth, take a bite and they went off!

I was under the impression that distributing alcohol was a no no, or is that meant to apply to the general public only ?

Granpa Cheese is a friend that supplied Cherry Bombs to those cooks that were willing to partake. Mark is a great guy that runs a competition in MN and Reps up in that part of the country.
