Not sure if anybody else is doing this, but there is a backyard bbq comp near St. Louis, MO in St. Charles. It is being hosted by grillinfools.com
I was in it last year and it was a lot of fun. There are 3 categories: Appetizers, Chicken, and Ribs. $100 for each category winner, $500 for best total score grand champ. You have to use mass market grills.
