ABT's on a Weber Q 100

Is it possible to make ABT's using a Weber Q 100? The reason I ask is b/c I've had great success using a WSM, kettle, and even a gasser, but I'm concerned that the proximity of the heating element to the griddle will cause epic failure. I've thought about putting them in an aluminum pan to shield the high heat, but wouldn't the grease render out and make them soggy? I would also assume putting them directly on the grill would singe the bacon and likely cause a mess once the cheese oozes out. Will a slotted jalapeno holster fit in a tiny Q100? I prefer to cook them horizontally, rather than vertical, so that the innards don't ooze out.

Help!!!!

I make them on my mini-WSM without he water pan (and on the upper grate.) I would think they would be fine on a Q. If you're concerned about cheese running out, choose a less runny mix. I use the recipe from this thread: http://tvwbb.com/eve/forums/a/...0069052/m/4350004152 (using non-fat cream cheese) and they seem not to run.

I would not cook them on high either.

I usually cook them at about 275°-300° F.
