So I have never really been that great at doing chicken. I always overcook it. Finally broke down and got a thermapen from the open box sale. I was not even thinking of chicken when I got it. (I tend to undercook steaks in my attempt to get them the perfect medium).

Well check it out. Perfect.

Now the mutant size of this half of a half chicken breast is a different story. I don’t know where my wife got it from but it was huge.

Chicken looks great. Thermapen makes overcooking a thing of the past.

We find BSCB's like that from Amick Farms at the grocery store and we call them nuclear chickens. How else can you explain them? Implants of pink slime maybe?
 
chicken looks super moist. i hear ya' about the gargantuan sized cb.... when i buy them i try to look for the smaller ones, but they are all crazy huge.

a few weeks ago i bought some bananas and one of them was at least 12 inches long!
 
The Thermapen has completely changed the taste of all my BBQ and grilling of steaks and such for the better. They should add it to the Swiss Army Knife!
