Summit 670 worth it?

I'm ready to give my cheapie char-broil grill to my son in law and get me something worth having.

I'm also tired of cooking 2 or 3 batches of food to feed everyone. We entertain 8 to 15 people about 2 times a month.

Has anyone used the new Weber searing feature to know if they got it right?
 
I would also be very interested in comments by anyone who has used the searing burner on the Summit 670. It looks rather small so I assume to cook several steaks, they would need to be rotated over the sear burner ?

I just got my Summit 670 put together. Haven't used the sear burner yet but will offer a review when i use it. A very well built grill. I don't think worth the price but i got mine for free at work.I sed it today for kabobs, shrimp and chicken, and veggies. it worked very well.

I don't get to play with this toy until September, having played with the Summit 650 I know how good that is so I can't wait for the 670. I would also like to hear some first hand comments.
Dave how lucky are you to get one free at work? Can I get a job there (LOL)
