OTG Jerk Chicken

Inspired by my friends Jim and Jeff , I picked up a 3.5 lb fresh chicken at Goffle Road Poultry on Saturday, spatchcocked and marinated overnight in the jerk marinade using 2 fresh habenaros. Really delicious and full of flavor. I didn’t feel the need to use a finishing sauce, just grilled indirectly on the OTG with one chunk of cherry wood.
Sides: fried plátanos, mango salsa, grilled asparagus, long-grain jasmine rice, okra with ginger, garlic, shallot, chili and a dash of curry powder.

Looks GREAT! I, seriously need to try and make some jerk chicken already! I've been putting it off, but this week shall be the week it gets done.
 
Gary, have you ever bought any other poultry from there? Duck breasts? I think I'm going to head up there this week. (I've only bought eggs and chicken from them).

I haven't Joe, but everything there seems top notch and fresh. Nice folks too.
