Chicken on a Throne

Hello All,
I'm thinking of doing a chicken on a throne today and have reviewed the recipe. My question is what is my target temp for my WSM for chicken? I tried 225*F for my ribs, but this seems like it is low for a whole chicken. I was thinking in the 300*F range. Is this too high? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
