French Toast in a Waffle Iron

Okay, maybe I was the last one to know, but I saw Bobby Flay do this and had to try it.

I used standard size soft crust French bread, sliced about 1 inch thick.
Good stuff, they tasted like a cross between waffles and FT.

That looks wonderful! I'm gonna try it this weekend and I bet the Hubster will end up in Hog Heaven!

The crust was left on, even though it doesn't show in the photo.
