Breakfast Casserole (not barbecue)

Breakfast Casserole
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour
Yield: 6 servings
Description: Prepare the night before!

Ingredients:
1 pound Bacon or sausage cooked
6 Eggs or egg beaters
1.5 cups Milk
1 cup Cheddar cheese grated
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
2 slices white bread cubed

Directions:
1: Beat eggs.
2: Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
3: Put in 6x10 baking dish sprayed with Pam.
4: Bake uncovered at 350 for one hour or until hot and bubbly.
5: Optional: May add green pepper, onion, diced green chiles, mushrooms.
For 9x13 pan, double recipe.

Good thing Chris lets us post recipes for "anything edible that's not barbecue", cause this is just too good to pass up.

I used a 1 quart casserole dish, but forgot to spray it with oil. Not a problem, no bad sticking or burning.
I added a couple of sliced of onion, chopped, and that was good.
Next time will try onions and mushrooms.

My daughter says it tastes just like the breakfast burritos at McDonald's, which...I think...is a compliment.
