Scottie's Creole Butter

1/2 can of beer
1/2 lb. Butter
1 tsp. Bonesmokers Big Time BBQ Rub (any mild BBQ rub will do)
2 tsp. Paprika
1-1/2 tsp. White Pepper
1-1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
1 tbsp. Garlic Powder
1-1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. Coleman's Mustard
1 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp. Tabasco

Let mixture cool a bit and then inject.

Chris and Jim M.,

I've seen you quite often specified a specific brand of ingredient for a recipe (Coleman's mustard, Watkins vanilla, etc.).

Well, I'm going to suggest that you add McIlhenny's Tabasco to that. You should know that McIlhenny's actually have "tabasco" as a registered trademark. It is the gold standard of hot sauces, and makes a difference, I think.

Just a suggestion, in the never ending quest for perfection.

If it's Tabasco?, then it goes without saying that it's McIlhenny. There is no other Tabasco?.

I am trying out some of the super hot stuff, but day to day is always Tobasco. We got a pouch of the Tobasco Chipotle in the mail yesterday. Going to try it out this weekend.
