Kentucky > Owensboro: Moonlite BBQ

On a recent trip to Owensboro, KY my family and I ate at the Moonlite. There is a buffet of anything from PP, brisket, ribs, and mutton with all the fixin's and great desert. They also have burgoo that was incredible, the cost is $12.99 all you can eat.

Mike,Moonlite used to very good. Now it's kind of hit and miss. Used to serve some of the best ribs,mutton and pulled pork you could imagine on a buffet.Hope you saved room for their deserts? I used to specialize in just the ribs and mutton when I went there. Man, the ribs were tasty and big. The mutton was just perfect. Owensboro has many other really good BBQ places beside Moonlite. Since I got my WSM I hardly make it over there anymore

Moonlight is a good buffet but the best bbq in town is Old Hickory. Im not local but live near by.Paul h I live just down the road outside of Mt Vernon
