Beef Pot Roast

I made a few recently. Usually it consists of 3 lb. chuck roast in a roaster for 2 hours. Season with worsh, wine and herbs. Next I add quartered onions, celery, garlic cloves, carrots and, potatoes. Cook till tender. It is wonderful. I know the collective wisdom here can provide a hint or two to kick it up a notch.

I do about the same with the veggies and worsh, but I also add 2 cups of water and a package of Lipton's Mushroom Onion soup mix. Great flavor addition.

Yeah Steve - sometimes the old favorites remind us of our past. Let me know if you try the soup mix next time.
