I bought a smokey joe off ebay last week for 29.99 and it was brand new and in the box. It has a letter stamped on it "E" so that would mean 1983. I will post some pics later

Excellent find, and 27 years old. What I like about Weber charcoal grills is they're simple, good quality, and work well so there's no need to redesign them every year. Quality never goes out of fashion.

I’m just astonished how people can have items like this and never use them. This is the very reason my wife and I go to estate sales. You never know what’s out there. Great find --- Enjoy!
