SJS Tailgating Questions

A couple of questions for those of you that use the SJS for tailgating.

How do you start your charcoal? I'd rather not take my charcoal chimney, so would the Weber starter cubes be a good substitute?

Do any of you use a table to set it on to put it at a more comfortable grilling height?

How long does it take for SJS to cool down after grilling so that I can put it in trunk of car?

What do you do with the ash?

- I bring my chimney but lighter cubes would do the trick too
- usually cook with the grill on the ground & I'll bring a camping chair so I'm comfy
- About 30 minutes to cool down
- I accidentally spill my ashes in the parking lot before I leave

I also sit it on the ground.
I put the lid on and and about 30 minutes in cooled down.I like to pour a little water on to be sure.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I may be switching to my SJS from my Gas Go Anywhere grill for future tailgating. I definitely want to get the better taste from using charcoal and I would like the even heating of the sjs.
