New to the wonderful world of Weber. Gotta
love it. However, I am wondering if anyone
can give me info or feedback on the use of
BBQ DELIGHT brand flavoring pellets.

Hello Rose,

Welcome aboard. The folks at BBQer's Delight were kind enough to make an offer of a free package of their product to a mailing list I was on a few years ago. They sent me a package of their apple pellets. I followed the directions, and they gave a light smoke for about 20 to 30 minutes. Not really enough smoke for my purposes, I would have needed 2 or 3 packages to get the smoke I wanted in the ribs I was cooking. I can't remember what they cost, but it was enough for me to think that 2 or 3 packages per cook was too much. Plus, quite frankly, there is a part of me that didn't like cooking with something that looks a little bit like pelletized rabbit food.

Bottom line, give it a try. They do offer some woods that are hard to come by for the average person, orange and hickory come to mind. I just think that for general usage, it is expensive. I will stick to my hickory chunks.
