I am not a WSM or barrel smoker user but saw this and thought it presented a new take on the design. The charcoal access and the wheels/handles for moving look well thought out.

The charcoal access is amazing. It also solves one of the biggest problems with drums which is cleaning them out.

Where does the ash go? It just sits inside the fire box, right? Should have had a smaller box below the fire box.

Looks like the grates and charcoal box are porcelain enameled.
For that kind of kash one would think SS.

You have to admit --- attaching a dolly to the drum and having a lower door is a brilliant idea!

Those foldable side tables are nice.
The built in dolly ain’t shabby either.
I also really like that bottom door.

The fire box door is nice too but the fire box and the defuser sure does look like they sit rather high.
The fire box itself looks like it’s twice the height of my Arbor basket system, but I could be wrong.
At my first glance it seemed like the ribs wouldn’t have much room when hanging them.

I heard somewhere that UBS only last a few years as opposed the wsm that can last 10 years or longer.
If so I think that’s the only thing that the wsm might have on it, well that and that wsm are half the price.

I don’t know about “others catchin up” but competition for our our financial support is always a good situation for us.
I would be a buyer if these or the next generation (that had a few minor mods) of these were offered in stainless steel.
