Grilled tuna belly

Last Sunday I made a great dish: Tuna Belly (Ventresca de Atún)
This a special part fo the tuna sin ce there is only one for tuna and everyone want it.
It is the tastier tuna part, a little more fatty than other and smoother.

It was a success, my daughter and wife, and me also, enjoyed it so much.
 
Looks Awesome! I try and get te tuna bellies when I go tuna fishing! Hard to get though because the salmon fishermen want them for bait!
 
grilling tuna belly is a big Filipino dish as well...

CaseT, if you are able to catch tuna and it has a sizeable belly and or the jaw part itself, I would be more than willing to buy it and have it shipped to Memphis, TN.

Didn't get any this year! The tuna never came in close enough for us to go. Which is a bummer, because I am out of smoked belly!

I thought it was more common but I see that tuna steak and/or tuna loin is what veryone usually select. It´s quite logical since there is only one belly.
 
Alber, not many people know about 2NA belly, but it is one tasty meal on the bbq, and yours looks great.
