Lasagna Sauce

Too nice to cook inside today. So I built a "C" shaped fire with K Comp two on the bottom, two in the top, with one more on top for good measure

Sautéd some onions and browned some beef, sausage, and turkey

Added some San Marzanos, herbs and spices

And simmered for an hour or so

Good looking sauce. How did you crack your kettle?

LOL. That's not a crack. I cut it. I used to use a Smokenator yrs ago and decided I needed a slot for my thermo wire. Actually I didn't need a cut that long and I don't even use the Smokenator anymore. But I still have that cut. Oh well she still works like a champ.
