I got to go down there a while back and she gave my wife and I a tour of the pits. She's an incredibly nice woman. Pretty much everything but the briskets is cooked on direct heat pits with shoveled coals. That's gotta be a ton of work! I was oddly star struck. I didn't even get a picture with her or anything.

Saw a video about Tootsie and her BBQ a few years back. She seems like an amazing woman.
