I guess I am going to be a rebel as I am doing a spatchcocked chicken in a few hours but I love the thought. With a black Performer in Texas today I am not even sure I need to make a fire.

Saw this on line earlier. Had a brisket cook planned for a month now and am doing that today. Will do some dogs here real soon.
 
Funny you should say that. Pammi and I had chili pimento dogs at our favorite burger joint in Huntersville, Pinkie's Westside Grill. The burgers are great, but went at felt like dogs today!
 
Always ready to celebrate this day. A couple of Vienna all beef dogs on the kettle with mustard, onions and celery salt.

Had some Ball Park Angus all beef yesterday and didnt even know what day it was lol, first time trying those and they were great
 
My wife and son like quality dogs. Costco has some really good hot dogs. But for some reason I like the cheapest junk dogs. Probably something to do with the taste from my childhood.
