Granulated Garlic


 
It's ground garlic. Garlic salt is a mix of garlic and salt. Granulated garlic is available in any grocery store. Just make sure you don't buy garlic powder which looks like flour. Granulated garlic is coarser, sort of like sand
 
Granulated garlic is ground dried garlic...
Garlic salt is a mixture of dried ground garlic and table salt... a flavored salt, if you will.
In my opinion, a safe substitute.

I find mine at BJ's wholesale club - similiar to Costco.
