Country Style Ribs. The forgotten part of BBQ.

Just want to put in a plug for Country Style Ribs. They are cut from the Pork Butt and therefore not really a "rib". But when smoked or grilled, these babies are really, really tasty.

I grill them. They're done in 20 minutes or so.

I'll wet them down with Soy Sauce or Worcestershire - then I add seasonings or my favorite BBQ rub. Excellent cooked on a Weber Kettle or Gas grill. Don't forget to hit them with some BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes of cooking.

I love them. And they're cheap!

Anyone else?

Yea I love true CSR and what you get now from butts aren't bad either. I like to hit them with Dales steak marinade and grill them like a steak.

Just made some the other day, smoked them on the mini for two hours and then in a covered pan with apple juice, BBQ sauce and seasoning for another two hours at 275 on the gasser. Yummy!

Love CSRs and almost always have some in the freezer.

Been a fan of Dale's for decades. Never tried it on CSRs, but that'll change soon.
