Well tomorrow this machine will smoke 2 briskets (about 12 lb each) so I installed the wheels I got from amazon. $11 usd each and the hinge later on the weekend.

Let me know what do you think, honestly I love how tall is now for me more easy to access inside

Looks great, I like it. Wheels look like good quality, where did they come from and what do they cost?

Looks good. I am going to put wheels on my WSM22 very soon. Just have to decide on what type. Leaning toward the Weber wheels like the ones on the Performer. Saw pics of this in one of the articles on the main site and like the looks. Let us know how yours work.

Great looking mod Sebastian. I did the same thing this spring and wish I had done it on day one. So much easier to move around and the extra height is nice.

Nice mod. I wish they had a kit to raise the kettles up 2 or 3 inches for us taller guys.

I want to do this but I've always been worried about drilling the hole off center or something..

I may bite the bullet one day.

no problem if your wsm is not new you will see signs of wear on the base of the alum. legs, use it as a reference, if you look my pictures, thats what i did.

Here Is some pics of the hidge install. I like to use bags when i drill something so all the debris goles inside and not around or botton.
