Viewing the HM webpage externally

Hello,

Is there somewhere someone can point me towards to set up the webpage for external access?

How can I change the port it is displayed on?

I have the port forwarding on my router sorted, but can't view anything on port 80 as it redirects to the router home page.

Thanks

You can map any port on your router to the internal IP port 80. Just pick an external port (what you'll enter into the browser) then set the internal port to 80. You can see here I have two web servers on my network on port 80, each using different ports on the router, so if you go to http://home.capnbry.net:5150/ you get my heatermeter.

Sorted.

Issue on my firewall side... pfsense.

Also worth mentioning that if you already run a webserver of some sort, that you can just tell the router to forward requests from say, port 8080, to port 80 of whatever box you're going for. So, I have a Subsonic media server on port 80, and I run my HeaterMeter through port 8080 externally, though it really is running on 80 internally.
