Maverick RediCheck ET-735

I ended up getting the et735 as a gift and was really excited about using only one device to monitor temps and do work, etc.

FYI - the Bluetooth range is terrible compared to the et733.

I was very disappointed with the range. Otherwise, the app, the use and appearance of the system is awesome...just the damn range. Yes, I have a few walls in my house, but the other one was able to handle it with no problem.

I would rate this as a 5/10...a could buy...

How do the batteries last? My 733 is awful when it comes to battery life. One good butt smoke and they're toast.

That is weird. The other day I thought to my self I am really impressed with the 733 battery life... I have had the thing for a year and only changed the batteries once.... and I cook using it at least once a week.

Do you cook often in cold weather?

The battery life seems ok. Only used it twice though.

Does anyone know if there is a Bluetooth range extender available?
