Hi I'm Dean from Mississippi a transplanted Chicagoan. My brand spanking new WSM 22" arrives tomorrow just in time for the weekend. I'm no stranger to the hobby but have previously done all my cooks on an old Weber Kettle and a couple heavily modified Brinkmanns I acquired over the years. I moved down here 3 years ago with just the kettle but last year we made a local move and it finally bit the dust. I though I wanted a BGE and started doing research and for what I wanted to do the WSM started to make perfect sense. I have a Weber Genesis grill and a small charcoal grill for any grilling needs so I just need a low and slow smoker. Excited to get started and happy to find you folks.
 
Welcome Dean! Just in time for Smoke Day on Saturday, good timing. We would love to see some pictures of some of your cooks!
 
Welcome Dean. I am an Ole Miss grad and am a Mississippian in my heart! I am in Dallas now. I'll actually be in Oxford, MS this weekend. Have fun with the 22'' you will love it.
