Plow Disc

So I picked up an old plow disc and I have planned two purposes. 1, low ceiling lid for cooking pizzas on the kettle pizza and 2, to use as a cast iron wok

How it looked when I got it

After a couple hours wire wheeled and then seasoned > 1,000 degrees (insanely hot)

Do you think it's safe to cook food in now? After all, it's was used to turn manure into the ground....

Clint, I think that's the disk that Tony R has. Interestingly, even when my disk was at it's hottest, you could grab the handles (stainless steel) granted, you probably couldn't hold them very long, but long enough to add more charcoal, or for whatever reason one might want to grab it
