4-way switch - Every which way but down.

Hey everyone, I finally got my Heatermeter up and running and everything is great except for the 4 way switch. It works for up, left and right but doesn't do anything when down is pressed. I'm 95% sure I mounted it in the correct position due to the offset so I'm not clear on what's going on. I've also retouched the solder on it. Bad switch maybe?

Thanks!

your 2.2k resistors may not be correct. if you have a multimeter then check the circle resistor

and you may want to resolder it also. the solder joint does not look good

one more thing, is it working, because your Atmega chip is facing the wrong direction

and you need 10k resistors for the probes

I uploaded the wrong pic. The second image has been corrected. Everything is working except the switch. I'll redo the soldering on the 2.2k resistor and check it with a multimeter, thanks for the advice!

Glad to hear. Usually, when you see a little ball shaped solder joint, it means that the pad was not heated with the soldering iron and the solder just stays on the lead.
