First run - success

Just did my first run with the Heatermeter 4.2.4 and I couldn't be more pleased. It was attached to a mini wsm and I learned quite a bit on just this burn. I lit it with a single Weber lighter cube and let the heatermeter take over right from the beginning...top vent fully open. Huge overshoot that took hours to recover starting up this way. Figured out that I need to close down the top vent to almost a sliver to get the low and slow temps. After that it worked like a champ. Don't think I'll be bothering with the servo if the 18" WSM is this stable too.

Wow, almost a 50 degree drop before it could recover too?

That big drop in the middle was a charcoal reload.

This thing is a Sous Vide Master!!! Just set it to pulse, Min and Max at 100%, and changed P to 10. Wow, just wow.
