Smoking A Whole Lobster

I've come across several recipes for smoking/grilling lobster tails, but has anyone tried a whole lobster yet? And if so, how do you get past the whole "live" issue, lol! Thanks!
 
If you put them on their backs it's supposed to put them to sleep, ice water works too.
Learned how to do it after boiling a couple and having to try and keep them in the pot. Apparently they don't like boiling water.
