Did they ever make a cover for the smokey joe platinum? Looking to cover it and the jumbo joes looks shorter with a flatter lid.

I don't believe they did. I just picked up one of the gray, cheap Weber covers for 18.5 at Target (clearance!!) and plan to cut it down to fit the JJP.

I had a custom made Sunbrella cover made for my COokshack smoker. Less than the OEM cost. Better, too. Try a local canvas shop.

Thanks to both. Solid ideas! I'll try my local guy first. If too much I'll go the cut down the 18.5 route. I searched high and low and never did find a weber cover for the SJP.

Dustin I got one of these from Ebay and use it on my Jumbo Joe and have been pretty happy with it. Its not a thick heavy duty cover but will keep it clean and with the draw string stays on. For 9.99 and free shipping its not bad. Have not tried it with rain, mostly just keep it in the shed or the garage and it keeps the dust off.

Thanks Josh! That would be perfect since I store in my shed as well. Really wanting a cover for when she rides in the back of the truck when camping. Thanks for the info
