    Simple Monday night chicken dinner

I like quick easy gas grilling, but love the flavor that only comes from wood smoke.
Took a grate off, put chips n chunks of pecan and cherry in a veggie grill bowl - the metal bowl with holes and handles.
Slapped marinated chicken on sear burner for a bit then over the wood.

    Simple quick healthy eatin'.

Anyone else score their chicken? I tend to think that it increases the surface area and more marinade and smoke can be delivered, but that could be completely wrong...
You're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon? Ham? Pork chops? Dad! Those all come from the same animal! Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.

I will score my chicken next time.

I remember My mother would score the chicken for my dad when he would grill.

Good score there Alan: yuck-yuck! But I do like the idea and will do it the next time chicky's on the menu.
