That almost looks like the length of the old style table. I like it! Did you just use the stock legs and mounting brackets? I like my newer style table, but its alot shorter than the old style wooden ones.
 
I used Joel H's Jarrah table as the measurement 'guideline'. This one ended up being 33 inches long at it's longest points.

The legs are shower curtain rod, and are attached via modified shower curtain flanges. On my next one, I will HOPEFULLY source some weber leg brackets from a destroyed kettle and use those.

It is a beautifully crafted table, Gerd, no doubt. But I keep staring at that Mastertouch-- oh my dear goodness is that a gorgeous specimen!
