    It will work that way. You will have to assign it as your pit probe for it to work. IIRC the new probes are good to 450F

    Stoker Cook Issues...

    I have had the same problem. I'm not sure that it was a Stokerlog issue. It may have been an issue with the Stoker itself. I was using a hardwired connection.

    Another thing to consider is that closing the fan damper probably increases the velocity of the air coming out of the fan, which could be stirring up the ashes.
