New to me Genesis Silver B (maybe)

Thanks for your help everybody. I'll look for the cleat today to see if its there. I think it probably isn't. My thermoset tables are stained, but in a strange, chalky way. I'll look at the advice for cleaning and give them a go. Appreciate all the help. I'll even post a pic after I get it...

New to me Genesis Silver B (maybe)

Just picked up off Facebook, Weber Genesis Silver B I think. I'm going to clean it, paint, and gift it to my son. Has the newer replacement grill grates, the stainless rod ones, which I might keep for myself if they work better then the stamped stainless on mine. It's dirty but no apparent...

    Redhead swap

OK Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. I'll keep looking.

    Redhead swap

Wondering if I can swap lids from these two grills... I haven't looked at either, but both are available local. The internals for the one look better as well. Would the flavorizer bars, etc fit from the 2 burner to the 3 burner? I have an older Genesis Silver B I rehabbed 6 or 7 yrs ago that's...

    Firebox mounting bolt

So far no luck, channel locks or Vise grips wouldn't budge whats left. I've already painted the exterior, but I think I'm going to put the torch to her tommorow to see if it will break loose that way. What temp does aluminum melt? I should be fine, but if not I'll let you know!

    Firebox mounting bolt

Thanks Jeff, thats a good idea. I'll give it a try

    Firebox mounting bolt

Thanks to all that have been so helpful in answering my questions as I struggle with my first clean-up / restoration. I'm working on a Genesis Silver C I think (with side burner?) and I've busted the mounting bolt off that attached the firebox to the frame. I've read plenty about people...

    Lid side panel fasteners

So, I'm taking apart a Genesis Silver that I got off craigslist, but I'm not sure what the somewhat strange nuts are that hold the side panels to the lid. They look like nuts, but not tapped the standard way. Does anyone know of a source, or know what they are or where to get replacements?

    First Weber for restore

So, motivated by the fine projects I've seen on this site, I've been looking for a possible renovation project when this came up on craigslist. I've missed a couple others, apparently the local market is fairly strong, and I've been outbid on a few earlier attempts. This came up yesterday...
