Lemon curd,is a traditional British dessert topping and sandwich spread.

Ingredients

3 Lemons
900 ml Milk (30.4 liquid ounces...almost 1 quart)
30 g Gelatine (1 ounce)
230 g Sugar (8 ounces)
4 tbsp Water

Directions

1. Wash 2 lemons properly and peel off the skin in thin strips.
2. Mix the skin with milk and sugar. Mix it till sugar gets dissolved.
3. Soak gelatine in water. When it becomes soft, pour it into the warm milk.
4. Do not boil the milk. It may cause the milk to curdle.
5. Strain the liquid in a bowl and allow it to cool.
6. Mix the juice of 3 lemons and mould. Keep in refrigerator.
7. Lemon curd jelly is ready.
