I'm kinda new to the smoking thing and have noticed on this site that some people advise wet chips in their recipes and some dry.
My questions to you are:1)do you use wet or dry chips
2)is there a difference and what is it?
Thanks.

Hi James,
I never soak any wood. I figure if I'm keeping my lid on and my vents closed, it will burn slowly.
