I thought I would share my Hybrid pics. I know they are not pure weber but they are not exactly UDS`s either. One day I`ll get a real WSM. "Maybe Santa will bring one" LOL.

Nice work Ian. Did you paint the tamale cooker? If so what kind of paint did you use?

Thanks guys,

Yes, I painted the tamale cooker. I got a can of "Grill paint" at Lowes. I believe it was krylon brand. On the Drum I used a Hight temp engine enamal and it was a little more flat in color. I prefer the more gloss on the tamale cooker.

Right on Ian! My Favorite is the Weber "Magnum" that thing looks awesome - a great addition to your Weber family. I was going to go that route but I just don't have any of the tools or knowhow to accomplish that so I went with the Cajun Bandit. But you have more sq.inches of cooking space!

Thanks for the compliment John,
She is a big Bit#@. I don`t think I would go through with making another one. It was fun at the time but it was time consuming. If I did not work in a Maintenance shop that project would have never happened for me.
Thanks again,
love those cajun bandits
